Three ways onto the range
1 DayOne-Day Course
Age 10 years and above
One hour on the range for anyone aged 10 and above who wants to try the sport. A safety brief, coaching on stance and trigger, then scored shots on a real 10m target with both rifle and pistol. All equipment provided — it is also the format we run for corporate teams, birthday groups and school visits.

3 MonthsBasic Course
Age 10 years and above
Three months, three sessions a week, one hour each: the foundation of 10m air rifle and air pistol shooting. Stance, hold, sight picture, trigger release and follow-through, range safety and the rules of a match, ending with the shooter's first scored competition-format card. Equipment is provided throughout.

6 MonthsAdvanced Course
Age 10 years and above
Six months, four days a week, two hours a session, for shooters preparing for state championships, Khel Mahakumbh, SGFI and national trials. Individual technical work, match simulation, mental routine and physical conditioning, with a coach's plan for each shooter. Bring your own equipment or use the academy's.

The academy is led by Hardiksinh Rajput, 28 years in the sport, with a senior coach who has coached in Gujarat for two decades. Every session is coached on the firing line by a certified coach who has competed, judged and officiated at state and national level.

What age can my child start shooting?
Shooters can start at 10 years old. The one-day course is a supervised one-hour introduction with all equipment provided; the three-month basic course builds the fundamentals of 10m air rifle and air pistol.
Do I need my own rifle or pistol?
No. Rifles, pistols, pellets and safety kit are provided at both ranges for the one-day and basic courses. Advanced shooters may bring their own equipment.
Is shooting safe for beginners?
Yes. Every session is run by a certified coach on the firing line, with range-safety briefings, one shooter per lane and strict handling rules from the first minute.
Where are the ranges?
Two ranges in Ahmedabad: Club O7 (off S.P. Road, Shela) and Ahmedabad Racquet Academy (opposite Gotilal Garden, Sindhu Bhavan Road).
Can the academy prepare a shooter for state and national competitions?
That is the six-month advanced course: four days a week, two hours a session, with competition tactics, mental conditioning and match-day preparation. Academy shooters have medalled at district, state and national level.
Do you coach shooters with physical disabilities?
Yes. Specialised para-shooting coaching is offered in line with World Shooting Para Sport guidelines, including seated and wheelchair shooting.
